Deborah Strube is the office manager at Hankinson LLP.  She works closely with the firm’s managing partner, Rick Thompson, on a variety of matters that ensure that the firm operates efficiently. Her responsibilities include bookkeeping functions, including handling accounts receivable and accounts payable information; office management, including developing and maintaining office systems; overseeing facilities maintenance; managing payroll issues; and staying up to date on various human resources issues.

Deb is very active in the Association of Legal Administrators, where she served as the Co-Chair of Community Service in 2010-2011 and is Secretary for the 2011-2012 year.  As a long-time member of Beta Sigma Phi, Preceptor Omicron Rho Chapter, Deb has held all board positions, chaired key committees several times, earned Woman of the Year three times, and has been honored as Sweetheart twice.

Deb’s past experience includes having served as the administrative assistant to the managing partner of another Dallas-based law firm.  She also helped to establish and co-owned a successful dental practice for many years.


Kristy Thompson is a legal assistant/administrative assistant at Hankinson LLP.  Her responsibilities include working with Hankinson LLP attorneys to finalize motions, briefs, and petitions for filing; handling court filings and related correspondence; communicating as required with court personnel and clients; and preparing key notebooks for hearings

and oral argument. Prior to joining Hankinson LLP, Kristy worked in Dallas and Baton Rouge in a variety of administrative positions where she gained a broad array of knowledge and skills. In the past, she has handled service of process issues, assisted trial teams, organized trial documents and files, and monitored due dates and case deadlines.

Kristy attended Louisiana State University (LSU), obtained a Medical Secretarial Degree at Spencer College in Baton Rouge in 1981, and obtained a Paralegal Certification from LSU’s Paralegal Studies Institute in 1990.


Jacquelin Tindall is an administrative assistant and ADR Coordinator at Hankinson LLP. In her role as ADR Coordinator, she helps to administer the firm’s mediation and arbitration practice. Jacque is responsible for all aspects of scheduling and related paperwork in connection with mediations and arbitrations and general questions about Hankinson LLP’s ADR procedures may be directed to her. On the day of a scheduled mediation, Jacque greets and signs in mediating parties upon their arrival at Hankinson LLP and remains available to assist the parties during the mediation session.

In her role as administrative assistant, Jacque fulfills many roles on an as needed basis, including making travel arrangements, handling the front desk, and processing incoming mail and deliveries. She is familiar with several aspects of the firm’s administration, including conflicts check procedures. Jacque received an Associate Degree from Richland College.
